ARGOS MCR
SaaS broadcast monitoring platform for Master Control Rooms. 24/7 production across 5 TV channels.
Building the monitoring system television never had.
Twenty years working in broadcast left me a toolbox: monitoring scripts, custom alerts, ad-hoc dashboards — small fixes I built project by project whenever an operator told me “we’d need something that warns us if the signal drops without having to stare at the screen all day”. ARGOS is what happened when I put all those tools together and made them talk to each other. The opening came from modern dev tools, especially AI and Claude Code, which let me move from maintaining loose prototypes to operating a unified system in production. Today ARGOS runs 24/7 across five TV channels, with more than twenty monitored nodes and alert latency under one second, at argosmcr.tv.
My role at ARGOS is Project Manager and Technology Developer: define what to build, in what order, and ship it. The system architecture and the multi-tenant strategy are consequences of those decisions, not separate labels.
Three gods, one obsession: see everything in time.
Each component of the system is named after a Greek deity. It’s not a coincidence. Three layers solving three different problems.

- NETWORK · UniFi network — APs, switches, and WAN. Connected clients and per-segment network status.
- ALERTS · P1–P5 traffic light — Five severity levels, configurable cooldowns, automatic notifications.
- LOGBOOK · Black box — Full history with end-to-end traceability for post-incident analysis.
Production & AI

The tools that existed were built for a different budget, or to solve a different problem. So I built a new one, assembled with what twenty years of broadcast had taught me to miss.
